Gandan Tegchenling Monastery will contribute to the "Billion trees" national movement!

Gandan Tegchenling Monastery will contribute to the “Billion Trees” national movement, demonstrating its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development. As one of Mongolia’s largest spiritual institutions, the monastery’s participation highlights the important role that religious organizations can play in addressing environmental challenges and promoting ecological awareness.

The campaign "Plant trees in the living world, Reap merit in the greater universe" is taking place between 1st of May to 1st of June. This campaign aims to support reforestation efforts, encourage community engagement, and foster a deeper sense of responsibility toward nature. By aligning spiritual values with environmental action, seeks to inspire individuals and communities to actively participate in building a greener and more sustainable future for Mongolia.

This contribution also reflects a broader vision of harmony between humanity and nature, reinforcing the idea that protecting the environment is not only a practical necessity but also a moral responsibility shared by all.
