The Governor’s Office of Umnugovi Province and the Billion Trees Socially Oriented NGO have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on various initiatives.

The parties have agreed to work together in the following areas:

  • Enhancing the implementation of the Billion Trees national movement in Umnugovi Province and jointly promoting its objectives and activities.
  • Incorporating the planned public park, to be established under the Billion Trees national movement, into the province’s land management plan. The Umnugovi Provincial Citizens’ Representative Council, the provincial government, and the Dalanzadgad District Governor’s Office will be responsible for developing a design plan suited to the local environment and ensuring the necessary infrastructure is in place.
  • Engaging in mutual cooperation and information exchange to support the goals and activities of the Billion Trees national movement in Umnugovi Province.
